Using Ableton Live as an Instrument in a Band

Most how-to Ableton videos show you how to use it to play backing tracks. This shows how to use it as an instrument, following the drummer, while being played by the bass guitarist using a McMIllan 12-Step foot controller and an Ableton Push. The audio interface is a Saffire Pro 40, into a MacBook Air running Yosemite OSX 10.10.5, using Thunderbolt via an Apple Firewire adaptor.
