What a week...lol I injured my right index finger this weekend opening a can of beans to make chili and had to go to urgent care. The doctor thought stitches were probably needed, but let me have the option of steri-strips and suture glue, which sounded better to me. I also got my results back from the hematology center, and my inflammation markers look ok. B12 is good (950 pg/mL). Folate I'm gonna have to speak to the doctor about. My copper level is good, but zinc is way below normal and that makes sense, because I've been having a hard time healing recently. I have a permanent scar from a CAT SCRATCH. Yeah, after months, it's still there. Zinc is responsible for wound healing, so finding out I'm well below the normal range is good. Now I can do something about it. I'm researching zinc supplements as we speak lol. I'm supposed to get another iron infusion this week or next week, so I'm gonna work on trying to get my zinc up before then. So, how about ya'll?
