Save A Fox Rescue - What it is and why you should care

It isn't just Earth Day that we should care for the earth and its creatures. Saveafox Corporation, founded by Mikayla Raines, is a wonderful rescue that is exemplary in carrying out this mission. Many people are not aware that fur farms are not a thing of the past and, rather, are still very much real today. More specifically, the harm and torment that they inflict on foxes, among other animals, is also very much real and happening as we speak. Saveafox aims to provide not only education on these matters, but actually rescues foxes from fur farms and provides the foxes with the compassion and care that they prior had never known. I had the honor and privilege of visiting Saveafox and speaking with Merri, one of the wonderful staff who cares for the resident foxes. I would appreciate it if you watched the video and listened to Merri's message - it may make you see some of the world quite differently and needs to be heard. Please recognize the pain that fur farms create. Going further, please understand why fur farms exist. We, everyday people, create demand. When purchasing a fur product, we are supporting this inhumane practice. As long as we provide demand, fur farms will continue to provide the supply. Take the time to understand what our products are derived from and make the active choice to choose those that are ethically sourced. It will literally save lives. The work they do is tremendous and they, and the foxes, deserve so much. Just a note: this initially started out as an assignment for a class, but soon became something of a passion project. I am an amateur at making videos - in fact, this was essentially my first. The quality may not be superb and editing could be cleaner, but the message within it is so important that I felt the need to share it regardless. ========= An introduction to Save A Fox Rescue that is far from all-inclusive and can only skim the surface of the amazing work they do. This was a project for an introductory documentary production class with a short timeframe to shoot, put together, and edit the video - so it is a bit rough!
