The Home Team is a Seattle-based "heavy pop" rock band formed in 2013 by guitarist John Baran and drummer Daniel Matson, with vocalist Brian Butcher joining in 2015 and bassist Ryne Olson in 2019. Influenced by traditional pop-punk and metal, they blend in R&B, pop, and funk elements to create their unique sound. The band is known for their energetic live performances, having toured with bands like The Used, Senses Fail, and Don Broco, and released three albums, including their latest The Crucible of Life.
