Tour Brandenburg - Von Ferchesar nach Wittenberge ("...Finale, einfach schön...")

We're back on vacation and can continue our #TourBrandenburg. To our great joy, the campsites have reopened. So we're now traveling with a tent. No more daily train journeys! Hooray! On the fourteenth day, we started our final leg from the Buntspecht campsite in Ferchesar and continued cycling along the #HavelCycle Path. We cycled through almost consistently beautiful scenery toward the Hanseatic city of Havelberg, then along the #ElbeCycle Path to our destination, Wittenberge. Since the weather cooperated again, everything was wonderful until the very end. Just "...finale; simply beautiful..." What can you expect in this episode? The realization that "Havelberge" in my vocabulary apparently means "Hanseatic City of Havelberg." The Havelberg Mountains are, of course, further along in Berlin! But we also discover that the town of Havelberg lives up to more than just its first name. We partake in a second breakfast of live food, talk about body glow and giant ice cream sundaes, visit Lady Agnes, and learn a bit about Otto Lilienthal. We drive through a cool town and past the last toilet for 10 km. And all of this with a perfect haircut. Napoleon also makes a brief appearance. Cobblestones aren't present this time either. But we didn't really miss them either. Enjoy watching.
