At the recommendation of a shop he frequented at the same time, he also took up snowboarding seriously. At the age of 28, he placed third in the national rankings in halfpipe competitions and gained major sponsors such as CAPITA, UNION, DEELUX, and REW. Rather than being competitive, he focused on having fun when it came to skateboarding, and has had a career as a skate school instructor for over 20 years. Meanwhile, he became concerned about the lack of opportunities for him to enjoy skateboarding with his children, and decided to create an environment where children could attend safely. He retired from his job as a firefighter and founded HubFun LLC. With the concept of "We're the hub, connecting everyone and sharing the fun," he promotes the importance of having fun through skateboarding and snowboarding, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. He also serves as chairman of the NPO Takasaki Skateboard Association (TSA), where he works to revitalize the local area and improve the skateboarding environment.
