Mexico Vlog | Packrafting A Secret Canyon

This was a fully self sufficient, human powered adventure down one of the most beautiful river canyons I've ever been to. I love backpacking and camping, but this was my first time packrafting which is now one of my favorite new activities. It was so special to be offgrid just paddling and lost in my own thoughts and sharing the experience with this group of fun humans. It was incredibly challenging to film because we needed to be prepared to flip at almost any moment and we had limited time to make it to our next campsite each day. We did sweeps at each campsite to pack up any and all trash. It was a privilege to visit this river and see almost no other humans besides our group for the week. As there is currently no infrastructure to support tourism in this sensitive area I have not disclosed the location. If you do visit I would recommend a guide and supporting the local economy directly through home stays and hiring local porters when possible. Filmed by Kylor Melton.
