Night Vision: Why Active Aiming is Superior to Passive Aiming
DISCLAIMER I have not used night vision in a tactical environment. You should take everything I say with a grain of salt. A quick discussion on why I prefer to use active aiming solutions, even in a environment with potential night vision users. While passive aiming certainly has it's place. This desire to be "invisible" to other night vision users (imo) is overstated. If the decision to engage has been made, I value decisive, accurate, high volume fire, vs preserving my signature slightly.
