TTX "Front-Runner" Flat Cars
Trailer Train (or TTX) is often connected with supplying America's intermodal rolling stock, from wellcars to TOFC "Trailer on Flat Car" cars, which you can see on everyday intermodal trains. In the 1980s, TTX experimented with a lighter, shorter, and more European-looking approach to the TOFC concept, with the "Front-Runners", and this video will cover the short history of these mass-produced but flawed flat cars.
