Getting To Know the AL 2025 DLCS Course of Study

Join us for a practical, teacher-friendly introduction to Alabama’s newly approved 2025 DLCS Course of Study. Designed for K–12 educators across all subject areas, this session will help you understand what the new standards mean for your classroom. We’ll cover key updates, state requirements, and crosswalks to previous standards. You’ll also learn how the DLCS Unpacked Content breaks each standard into key vocabulary, knowledge, skills, and understandings, making planning clear and manageable. See what DLCS looks like in real classrooms and explore ready-to-use lessons and resources available through ALEX. The 2025 DLCS COS will be required for implementation in the 2027-2028 school year.
