NEW HOTEL & NEW RESTAURANTS TO TRY This wasn't made any easier by the fact it was the Autumn Moon Festival, so many of the great restaurants we'd previously found were closed for four days. IMPORTANT POINT Always check the dates of public holidays when travelling... as we keep getting caught out by this! We've had May Day in Shanghai, and also flown to Barcelona one May Day, and had to wait 2 hours for our baggage, and then another 2 hours for a bus! Thankfully things weren't that bad in Tainan and we found some excellent places to get delicious food and drink.
