🎵: "Wanna be on your mind" -Valerie June

July 8th, 2026 Sahara dust has made it from Africa to the Gulf of Mexico! Sunset was unremarkable, but I had a great time in the water.. there were stingrays (see end clip for a glimpse at their behavior) that were VERY convincing mimics of Sharks.. there wings perfect matched shark fins, two at a time, working in unison & they were fast thrashing, aggressive maneuvers, turns on a dime, they were warning me that they were dangerous.. had me stand up out the water, unsure if they were sharks or rays. I also had close encounter with a couple of manatees, they came up for air aimed right at me & passed by just out of my reach, only a few feet away. As I laid on the beach, a turtle mother to be, exited the water & made her way up to the tree line.. she was soo big, such a treat under the stars. #lightening #sunsetsessions #saharadust #stars #starscape #starynight #musicappreciation #floridarays
