The "Axente Sever" Theoretical High School in Mediaș benefits from better conditions for carrying out sports activities, after the completion of a new multifunctional sports field built by the Mediaș City Hall. The investment consisted in the arrangement of a tartan field, with a total area of ​​504 square meters, intended for both team sports, such as football, handball, basketball and volleyball, and individual disciplines, such as tennis and martial arts. The value of the project amounted to approximately 1.5 million lei, with financing being provided from the local budget of the Mediaș municipality.
