Cycling the East City Way (ECW) including Glasgow Green // Glasgow // August 2025

The East City Way (ECW) is one of 4 largely segregated arterial cycle routes running out from Glasgow City Centre. It was completed in July 2023 (earlier section 2011/12) and takes you from Saltmarket, just within the city centre, to Calton, Glasgow Green, Bridgeton, Parkhead & Dalmarnock to Newbank in just 15 minutes. Recorded on Tuesday 26th August 2025 between 1532-1611 hours Length: 3,889 metres (3.9 km / 2.4 miles) Route: Saltmarket - St. Andrew's Street - St. Andrew's Square - James Morrison Street - London Road - Glasgow Green - James Street - Bridgeton Cross - London Road This is the final of four videos in which I intend to chronicle the City Ways as they are now, in Summer 2025.
