Five years ago, in the episode "The New Member of the Family: Turkey – Rize" we shot for TRT Documentary, I was a guest at the home of the Kabataş family in Çayeli, Rize. In this video, we reunite with the same family years later at a wedding in Rize, at their daughter's wedding in Derepazarı. We went up to the plateau for another shoot in Rize and camped in the mountains, but the weather worsened, forcing us to come down. We were tired, and the day had been long. Still, I had only one thing on my mind: "Will I ever meet the Kabataş family again?" While eating at a restaurant in central Rize, I asked some friends there about Yaşar Abi, whom I'd met years ago. We showed them old photos on Facebook and Instagram and finally found his number. The answer we received on the phone was: "I'm not available, I'm at my daughter's wedding." Without much thought, we got up from where we were and headed to the wedding in Derepazarı. This time, we were guests at the wedding of the daughter of the same family whose door I had knocked on 5 years ago.
