Rev. Chariji's talk in Hindi - Time is short - Make the most of it (Sahaj Marg) (SRCM)

Rev. Chariji at Babuji Memorial Ashram (BMA), Chennai said, I have reached an advanced stage - (vridha avasta) so I can't travel so much (as before). I feel an urgency - no one knows much time is left. God keeps that information to himself. Rev. Babuji used to say that birth and death is in His hands. I keep getting letters that someone or the other young and small has passed away. So the lesson for all is that everyone be it young or old must use the time that is left to be used in the right way. I once asked Rev. Babuji what is intelligent way of living? He said live in such a way that you may die in the next moment. If someone comes to know that we have only 10 minutes left, what will we do? Go to a Bank or listen to a Sant (Guru) and stay in meditation and in that state leave our body? So a tragedy of our life is that we think there is lot of time and postpone that we will become spiritual in our old age. That only after 60 years our spiritual pursuit will begin. That is not right. Someone came to Rev. Babuji and discussed for two hours and then said I don't have time, so Rev. Babuji smiled and said, who has how much time, no one knows. So one must treat spirituality with urgency. We run for so many things in life, but what about what is most important? When should we do that? NOW. Right now. We must pay attention to this and implement. Do we re-evaluate our life every moment? Do we listen to the Master? Do we follow what he tells us? The clock is ticking, we have to ensure that we reach our goal before the end comes. It is said that when the end comes, for those who follow and do what is told, the Guru comes to take them, not Yamraj (Lord of Death) but the Guru/Master comes saying, it is time, now come with me. That's a promise. And still we are afraid of death, we are unable to sleep, unable to work, we are worried, depressed - all that - well just sit in meditation, why don't you do that? What is there in books?
