Perfection Doesn't Exist | Sausan Khan Moyeen | TEDxYouth@AISD
Finally! After a good 3 years since our last event, TEDxYouth@AISD is back to share ideas truly worth sharing! Over the course of the past few years, it seemed as though the whole world got tougher (as if puberty wasn't the only issue). Then came the coronavirus pandemic followed by years of lockdown. These troubles that have influenced others were indeed difficult to get over, however many stood up and stormed through the debris that were thrown at them. Because they stood up, because they were able to counter these difficulties, and because of the multitude of diverse intellectuals in our community, people found success. Whether this success was in the form of achieving good grades, being a leader in the midst of the pandemic, or even the simple action of preventing the virus from spreading, everyone has an idea to share for their success. As a result of the relevancy of the pandemic, it is important to share these concepts and ideas with the AISD School community and greater Dhaka. The lockdown period has halted the connection that we have between each other, which can be brought together with a TEDxYouth event. Moreover, the skill of resilience is of utmost importance to share because of the unpredictable environment people must be ready to adapt to at any given moment. Hosted in the Anita and Samson H. Chowdhury Performing Arts Center at the American International School of Dhaka, we invite students, faculty, and award winning guest speakers to speak on how they overcame challenges.
