How Students Kicked Starbucks Off Cornell Campus

After Ithaca became the first city in the country to have every Starbucks store vote to unionize, Starbucks retaliated against workers by closing down EVERY store in the college town. In response, Cornell students launched a campaign to kick Starbucks off campus saying that if Starbucks didn't want anything to do with Ithaca, Ithaca didn't want Starbucks. This is the story about how an incredible group of students, workers and activists got Cornell University to pledge to not renew it's contract with Starbucks when it expires in 2025.
