However, recent data and demographic analyses point to a rapid and silent transition: the expressive growth of the evangelical movement. This change has altered not only the religious configuration of the country, but also its social, cultural, and political fabric. In this video, we analyze the roots of this transformation. We show how the expansion of Protestant, Pentecostal, and Neo-Pentecostal churches, especially in the peripheries, generated a cultural clash with the traditionally educated intellectual elite.
