Sara Bushland disappearance: Sister's never-ending search for answers decades later | Missing

This week, our "Missing" series looks at the case of Sara Bushland, who got off a school bus 30 years ago and was never seen again. Bushland's sister continues to push for answers on what happened in 1996. Though she was reported missing days later, the Washburn County Sheriff's Office reports it took six months for deputies to start checking locations and conducting interviews. Then, it took another two years before a full-scale investigation was launched. Decades later, a possible break came in the case after details were revealed about Bushland's home life, the abuse she endured and what happened in the weeks leading up to her disappearance. NewsNation's Marni Hughes speaks with Sara's sister about her never-ending search to find out what happened. #SaraBushland #truecrime #missingperson CREDITS Host: Marni Hughes Executive Producer: Paige Lobdell, Cathleen O'Toole Segment Producer: Taylor Blackburn Editor: Allen Keefner NewsNation is your source for fact-based, unbiased news for all Americans.
