This Bangkok Neighborhood Is Going To Be Very Different

Now that I am (mostly) settled into my new neighborhood of Ekkamai in Bangkok, it's time to go explore! This Bangkok neighborhood is going to be very different from my old area, and I am excited to start exploring it. The Ekkamai area has a heavy Japanese expat community and so much to offer. Join me for my first outing to explore this area. Our first stop will be a local morning market to check out the variety of delicious food, clothing and other items for sale. Walking towards Sukhumvit road, I take you to the Ekkamai bus station. This is where you can catch a bus to almost any city in Thailand for a very reasonable price. Phed Mark, Big C, Sunrise Tacos and Ekkamai Beer House are my next finds as I wander aimlessly exploring my new home turf. The last two stops on this day are the Wat That Thong temple and Gateway Ekkamai Mall.
