Trains at St Albans – Melbourne Transport

In this video we see some trains at St Albans station on the Sunbury line in Melbourne’s north-west. Here we see Metro Comeng and Siemens Trains, and some V/Line Vlocities. St Albans is home to the notorious Main Road level crossing, one of the most dangerous in Melbourne, if not Australia. 16 people have lost their lives at this crossing over the years with 2 deaths and 39 near misses since 2006. During the 2014-15 state budget the former Napthine Coalition government pledged $200 million to grade separate this crossing. Construction began last year and will be completed next year.
