Is this Stradivarius worth restoring?

Found an old Stradivarius at a yard sale or in the attic? and wondering whether you have hit the jackpot or sitting on a worthless piece of timber. Values is really in the eye of the beholder! This violin may be deemed as worthless to some, but if I put the effort in to restore it, learn something new and have a finished piece that my kids can learn on, surely that’s worth more than a $$ value?
