Toadies - The Charmer Album Review

With their first album in nine years, Fort Worth, Texas’ own rock band Toadies are back with their eighth studio album titled The Charmer. Produced by the late great Steve Albini (one of his last albums before his passing), this new release see’s the band at familiar grounds. But maybe too familiar? The Charmer’s production is fitting for the type of songs on it but it fails to bring the same energy and passion as past Toadies’ albums.
