Installing non-Supermicro motherboard in Supermicro server chassis | Supermicro Tech Tip

This is a bit of an impromptu video. I was testing out a motherboard for an upcoming project and remembered that I've been wanting to share some tips for those of you building your own server in a Supermicro chassis. Many of the Supermicro server chassis (Specifically the 825, 826, 216, 836, and 846) are built to E-ATX standards and can be used to install E-ATX, ATX, MicroATX, and MiniITX motherboards from other brands. However, the front panel I/O cable in those chassis are a bit unusual and different.
