GTA IV meets SimCity 4 (Revised)

My rendition of Liberty City in SimCity 4 (SC4) with additional landmarks from their real-life counterparts. What makes SC4 so immersive as a city-builder simulator is by how it can be based on virtually any real-life location on Earth. For two years, I replicated Liberty City and the State of Alderney, which became the setting for Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV). This video shows every neighborhood, along with information concerning the inhabitants' well being. Algonquin, the first borough I worked on, was relatively easy since its iconic grid can be applicable to this and many other city-builder games, but adding the intersections provided by the Network Addon Mod (NAM) became the hardest challenge since avenues, unlike roads, couldn't add any lanes for turning by placing one-way roads onto the intersections, so I manually added them. The city's power comes from a fusion power plant located in Purgatory. The city hall was moved east toward the Exchange while its relative location in GTA IV would be the old police headquarters, which is in City Hall instead of Fishmarket North. Bohan was easy, however I had to make room for the Northwood Heights Bridge since SC4 doesn't allow diagonal bridges, one limitation I wish was corrected. Broker is massive, and by the time I completed half the borough, it was too late for me to notice it took up more area than Dukes, which is why Outlook Park is nearly the same size as Meadows Park. Alderney, the last island to be completed, changed considerably since its creation. Since the only connection it has with Liberty City are from a bridge, a tunnel and three ferries, making Alderney the most remote island in the region. I used the Network Addon Mod (NAM), created by NAM Team. The mod is available on simtropolis.com and sc4devotion.com. Throughout the region, there are unique buildings.
