Meet Emerson

Emerson lives with a rare MSTO1 gene abnormality affecting his motor skills, balance, speech and coordination. Variety SA granted a paediatric walker that’s helping him build strength, gain independence and explore more of the world around him. "Emerson loves being independent and the funding from Variety has enabled this by purchasing his paediatric walking frame. His walker has travelled to Sydney, Perth and Victoria with our family on short trips on planes, cars and buses. We take the walker with us everywhere we go daily to provide independence for our active, smart, courageous and determined, car loving two-and-a-half-year-old son.
