Життя без світла: НАІУ презентує нове відео “Життя людей з інвалідністю під час гуманітарної кризи”

A blackout is not just an inconvenience. For many people with disabilities, it can mean isolation, loss of access to essential devices, services, and even a safety risk. When the power goes out, elevators stop working, medical devices stop working, and the ability to leave the house or reach shelter becomes difficult or impossible. This is the reality that the new video of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine tells about, created as part of the advocacy campaign “Communities for All: Together with People with Disabilities, We Create Change”, which aims to include people with disabilities in the humanitarian response at all stages of the reset. The initiative is implemented in the project “Multi-sectoral Humanitarian Assistance for Internally Displaced Persons, Returnees, Veterans and Host Communities in Ukraine Taking into Account the Needs of People with Disabilities”, which is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in partnership with the European Disability Forum (EDF) with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany (GFFO) and CBM (Christian Mission for the Blind) and aims to support a dignified and safe life for people caught up in difficult war conditions.
