It's a good idea to decide to become an officer in the Polish Army while still in high school. Then, right after your high school exams, you can apply to study at officer training school. Officers, on the other hand, won't care. If you do something wrong, screw them, punish them, don't single them out. Of course, I'm not saying that officers with three months of training are worse than those with five years. I know many decent officers with a degree, and I believe it all depends on character. Often, the one with a degree will be better than the one with five years... Personally, I recommend the Military Aviation Academy and the Naval Academy. In the Navy and Air Force, people respect each other more, and the climate is warmer. It's like this in the military that the smaller the group, the better you get along and the more respect you get. Generally, the Land Forces are a mess compared to the Air Force and Navy. This is just my opinion, based on observation. If someone served in the Army and then transferred to the Navy or Air Force, they were happy. If it wasn't, they were wide-eyed, doing whatever the hell they were doing in those Air Forces. Of course, there's concrete everywhere. In some places, it's bigger, in others, smaller... How to get into officer training school? It's no secret that those with connections get in first. To get into the five-year military school, you first need to do well on your high school leaving exam. The better you do in the required subjects (math and English), the greater your likelihood of getting in. How to Become an Officer? - Physical Education Exam Military schools inform candidates on their websites what they will be tested on. These are usually running, swimming, and pull-ups. All skills can be practiced before taking the exam. It's worth taking the physical fitness exam seriously, as you can earn a lot of points. If you have no problems with physical education, it will also be easier for you in your future studies. Military schools place a strong emphasis on physical education, so it's worth being fit. How to Become an Officer? - Interview The interview is designed to ensure that those with connections receive the most points. There's no point kidding yourself that generals, colonels, and dignitaries have sons, grandsons, and friends who want to help them get into officer training school at all costs. You have to accept that, because that's just how it is. If you have connections, use them; if not, you need to make up for it with studies and physical fitness. Remember, even without connections, you still have a good chance of getting in. You just need to put more effort into your studies and the physical education test. If you don't have connections, don't write off the interview, which you also need to put in the effort and present yourself well. Every point is important in achieving your goal. Prepare for questions like: • Is anyone in your family in the military? • Why do you want to be an officer? • Do you know what military service is like?
