With a turning radius of 18.6 feet, this midsize SUV tackles the twists and turns with ease and delivers a car-like ride. The independent front and rear suspension delivers an easy, quiet ride that is downright dreamy. Cargo Space Our next test goes to the dogs as we fire up the power liftgate and discover the cargo capacity of the 2019 Sorento SX. With all three rows up, the 11.3 cubic feet of storage space is limited compared to the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder SV and the 2019 Subaru Ascent Limited. But when we fold them flat and unleash the hounds, we discover the 73 cubic feet of cargo space is more than enough room for groceries, gear, and puppies! Seating Comfort and Capacity With three rows of seating, room for seven, and two full sets of LATCH child seat connectors, the Sorento SX looks a solid choice for families. But when we went old school with a group of young students, we discovered a few roadblocks. Third-row access is only available through the second-row passenger side which makes loading up a little tricky. The second-row features 39.4 inches of ample legroom. But the cozy, two-seater third row might not cut it for taller kids and adults on those long summer road trips.
