SOLO OVERNIGHTER IN THE BOAT/LAKE MONDURAN

Ok, so I'm kinda liking impoundment Barramundi fishing! This time I hit the dam on a solo overnighter. I launched the boat mid morning with a plan of searching out other areas that friends had told me about. The wind had not long swung to a Northerly and it was starting to heat up durning the day. Heading further up the dam than I had before was interesting as it's not an easy dam to navigate. Trying to find the channels between the all the trees is something that takes a bit of time to work out. I eventually got to the area and started fishing both the Luckycraft jerk-baits I have done well on and a range of soft plastics. In the end, the bigger soft plastics fished better this trip with some metre plus caught and sadly lost. Small bite windows and the heat made it a bit tricky but it was another successful and fun trip!
