It's a long-established soba noodle shop celebrating its 40th anniversary, making it a must-see for soba noodle lovers. You can continue your train journey while enjoying traditional flavors, and experience the Showa-era atmosphere in this spot. There are many shops around Fujimi Station, but one of my favorites is the rice ball shop "Onri." Cheerin highly praises this rice ball shop, which occupies an old-fashioned, retro cake shop with almost no renovations. The interior is nostalgic, and the space is calming. Of course, the rice balls are exquisite! No matter which one you eat, they have a "comforting taste" that makes you feel happy. And the taste that makes you want to eat them again is one that stays in your memory. Stopping by around the station and stuffing your face with a warm rice ball is truly a happy moment. Another attraction of "Onri" is the gallery in front of the shop. The works of local artists are lined up, creating a space that is also a feast for the eyes. The opportunity to spend luxurious time browsing the beautiful art and miscellaneous goods while eating rice balls is a unique pleasure of this shop. Next, we'll introduce "Yohaku Liquor Store," a liquor store that Uruo often visits. This place is a must-see for alcohol lovers, stocking not only local liquor but also delicious alcohol from all over the country. When you enter the store, you'll be amazed by the variety of alcohol on display. You're sure to make a new discovery, and the charm of this store is that you can enjoy a different drink every time. Yohaku Liquor Store is more than just a liquor store; the carefully selected alcohol decorates the store, creating an almost gallery-like atmosphere. The area around Fujimi Station is also home to an increasing number of stylish shops run by young people. One place in particular worth checking out is the clothing store next to Yohaku Liquor Store. The owner is a sock lover, and there's a wide selection of socks lined up in the store. Stocked with simple, beautifully designed clothing and accessories, it's one shop you definitely want to stop by when you're at Fujimi Station. You can park for free for three hours, so it's safe to visit by car. It's a great way to leisurely stroll around the station, enjoying the food and shops.
