One Tin Soldier
Contemplating this song took me down a road exploring words. Is this a parable, as I say in the video? Or is it a fable? Then I thought of an allegory as a possibility. I chose parable because it is based on an implicit analogy to current events. Whatever you call it, why must this continue? The video begins with a brief trailer thanking Brian Griffin for making me this beautiful rosewood and redwood ukulele. He and I speculated that the redwood top could easily be 1000 years old. It was salvaged from a NYC water tower that was built in the early 20th century from California redwood. Brian is 93 years old and still working in his shop to create instruments! #ukulele
