One Of The Most Popular "Carolina Beach Music" Groups Is Bill Deal & The Rhondels Formed Around 1965 In Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 1969, They Began A Big String Of Hits Starting With The Smash "May I". In 1980, The Group Returned To The Studio To Record An Album Called "Now & Then" Which Featured Old Favorites And New "Remakes". One Of The Songs Was This Excellent Version Of A Tune Originally Released By The Trammps During The Mid 70's Called "Hold Back The Night".
