Overview of Zephaniah

Zephaniah was one of the most distinguished prophets in terms of lineage. He was (most likely) the great great grandson of King Hezekiah. He was also (most likely) a distant cousin of King Josiah (during whose reign he lived.) He was a contemporary of Habakkuk and Jeremiah. He wrote this book at a time of deep spiritual darkness and disobedience.
