CA Detla Bass Bite is Finally Heating Up!

After a painfully slow start to the year, it finally seems to be heating up on the California Delta. The main pattern for the day seemed to be bass setting up to ambush baitfish on tule cover. I was able to catch a few by luring them out with a bait fish presentation thrown right at the edge of the cover. A wacky rigged senko and topwater popper also proved to be productive for the day. Overall, it was a great day of fishing out on the Delta!
