Daspalla Police acted swiftly, analyzed CCTV footage, and arrested two youths involved in the attack. The incident occurred near Nachhipur village last Friday afternoon when the BDO was returning to his office after inspecting an official site. Two motorcycle-borne youths suddenly pelted heavy stones at his vehicle, shattering the front windshield and injuring the BDO's driver. The arrested individuals have been identified as Sushanta Behera from Alapanga village and Rabi Bhoi from Ghugudipada. During police interrogation, the accused confessed that they harbored a grudge against the BDO because Sushanta's ration card was recently cancelled.
