Kobe, Shaq, Phil & Buss Interview WHY Lakers broke up in 2004
Interviews with Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal "Shaq", Coach Phil Jackson & Lakers majority owner Jerry Buss on why the LA Los Angeles Lakers broke up in 2004. The so-called Kobe and Shaq feud is addressed...why couldn't Kobe & Shaq coexist? Also addressed is why Phil Jackson felt he could no longer coach Kobe. And the reasons why Phil Jackson & Shaq ultimately decided to leave the Lakers are also discussed. Phil, of course, retired and Shaq went to Miami Heat. The interview was conducted by ESPN and aired on the SportsCenter Sunday Conversation segment with Linda Cohn introducing the story during the episode. The episode aired on December 5, 2004.
