Indianapolis 500 - Full Race - 1989 CART Round 3 - Indycar Racing II

After 2 podium finishes to start the season we come to the big one, the Indianapolis 500! Flat out around the 2.5 mile oval, the 500 will take equal parts speed, strategy and luck to win. Patience will be key, but too patient and it will be easy to lose a lap. With 33 cars on the grid lapped traffic will always be in play. Will Ryan Axelson make it to the finish? Will he complete his podium run and finish in the top spot? The next 200 laps will tell the story.... This is a full-distance “Hardcore” season. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Very much looking forward to the 15 rounds ahead in one of my favorite sims of all time!
