Tại Vắng Anh - Saigon Jazz Revival feat. Carol Kim

Saigon Jazz Revival's inaugural concert presented Carol Kim performing live at Marigny Studios in New Orleans, November 2025. Saigon Jazz Revival is a new collaborative music project that seeks to revive a lost era of Vietnamese jazz and reimagine the cross-cultural energy of old Saigon through a contemporary New Orleans lens. Helmed by film and music director Marion Hoàng Ngọc Hill and music directors Steve Lands and Oscar Rossignoli, the project is developing both original collaborations with various Vietnamese diasporic artists as well as dynamic re-creations of Vietnamese folk songs. "Tại Vắng Anh" is a Vietnamese blues by Tuấn Khanh that aches for lost love. It captures longing through the birds that forget to sing and losing track of time. This new rendition by Saigon Jazz Revival was arranged by Steve Lands and features delicious saxophone solos by Amari Ansari.
