Kathleen Valley Underground Mine Plan and Extraction Method
Have you ever wondered how we’re mining the orebody at Kathleen Valley? We’ve created this animation to show you the detail behind our underground mine plan and how we will extract the ore. With underground mining activity underway, advance rates remain on track, with ground conditions behaving as expected. Over 1,200 development metres have been achieved to date. The mine plan has been designed to reduce our environmental footprint, in line with our strong focus on sustainability throughout our operation. Kathleen Valley is a high-grade, long-life resource and we are developing it to its full potential.
