The History of Super Pac-Man : From Pac-Man Fever, to a Mild Chill
Howdy! In this video I deep dive into the history of the arcade video game Super Pac-Man developed as the original sequel to Pac-Man by Namco and why Super Pac-Man doesn’t seem to share the same legacy as other Pac-Man sequels. We discuss the rather dodgy relationship between Namco and the US license holder for Pac-Man Bally/Midway and how a series of some what less than officially designed sequel games might have contributed to hurting the legacy of Super Pac-Man and its success in the arcade marketplace in the early 1980’s. Hope you enjoy it :-D Thanks for Watching! Cassie
