LA CANTERA: historia de un estadio "maldito" - Informe sobre el Club Aldosivi
The stadium of Club Aldosivi of Mar del Plata was built on the remains of an old quarry. It was a fortress surrounded by earthen walls and, for many, a cursed stadium due to the succession of tragic events that occurred there. In 1997, a youth player died on the field from a heart problem. Two months later, a fan fell from the stands and died from the blows. And the following year, another fan died of a heart attack while fleeing police rubber bullets. The field had only one entrance for home and away players, making it a trap. As a result of these events, the field closed forever. Malnatti was there to tour its ruins.
