#toyota #aygox #citycar Since its launch in 2022 the Toyota Aygo X has seen huge success! Approximately 300,000 of them are on Europe’s roads. Now the Aygo X has had a makeover and even more work done under the bonnet, now it’s a 1.5L self-charging hybrid, producing 114BHP and 120NM of torque, capable of 0-62 in 9.2 seconds, MUCH faster than the nearly 15 seconds on the pre-facelift. 4 trims are available; Icon, Design, Excel & for the first time in the Aygo X the GR Sport! I tested the top-spec GR Sport model which includes features like: keyless entry, heated front seats, full LEDs, front & rear parking sensors + a very sporty exterior. Unfortunately the interior remains to feel a bit below par compared to cheaper competitors like the Kia Picanto, however the hybrid powertrain has transformed the Aygo X into a rather nippy little car, giving it an almost ‘hot hatch’ vibe!
