sawyer and juliet // desmond and penny -- parallels

very, very simple editing (and somehow I still managed to screw it up). I'm pretty much just showing the similarities. As you can see there's a part dedicated only to Desmond and Juliet. I couldn't resist Man of Science, Man of Faith and A Tale of Two Cities parallels. They are pretty much the same scene (go watch both again, I couldn't include everything) I love these two couples very much and it's so cool that they have so many things in common! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it :) Other parallels I didn't know how to include: 1) At the church, they are mirroring their positions (see the last clip). And also there are two moments you can see Juliet's head on James shoulder just like Penny had hers on Desmond's. The moments are these: when Christian passes in front of Locke (S/J is in the background so the image in blurry); and in the last clip of my video. 2) The title of season 2 finale is Live Together, Die Alone where Desmond blew up the hatch. And in the season 5 finale, Juliet answered "Live Together, die alone" to Sawyer. Then she later on blew up the jughead on the same hatch Desmond detonated 30 years later. 3) Desmond & Penny have been together for 3 years before this break-up, just like Juliet & Sawyer. 4) Desmond spent 3 years on the island and then he found Penny and they are together for 3 years now. Juliet spent 3 years on the island and she and James have been together for 3 years. 5) In LIVE TOGETHER, DIE ALONE, there is a white flash after turning that key, just like the one in the last scene of THE INCIDENT. 6) In LA X Juliet "sees" the sideways world. Just like Desmond in HAPPILY EVER AFTER. They are the only two characters, that we know of, to experience that. 7) Desmond managed to give the ring to Penny.
