Visiting Enoshima, Japan: trains, Coast and Anime Locations

Join Beary and Grandpa Bear for a full ride on the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) — one of Japan’s most charming little railways, running between Kamakura and Fujisawa through the Shonan coastal area. Along the way we stop off at quaint stations, roll through narrow residential streets, pop out of a tunnel that’s appeared in anime, and enjoy some of the most famous seaside views and crossings on the line. If you’re an anime fan, you’ll recognize several locations from shows like Sweet Blue Flowers, Tari Tari, and Slam Dunk — and we also visit the area linked to a famous samurai legend along the beach. We end the day with a peaceful night return, revisiting key spots without the daytime crowds.
