This should be the same process for any 2006-2011 Hyundai Accent with a 1.6 motor. A blower motor fan is an important part of your vehicle's operating system. Depending on your driving conditions at the time, it’s responsible for blowing cool air or heat through your vehicle's vents as needed. On cold winter days it allows the vehicle to push heated air to the front windshield and windows, allowing safe driving and warm comfort on the coldest nights. The blower motor has different fan speeds to provide you with the right amount of heating or cooling. Signs of a failing blower motor would be unusual noises or vibration, fan not working at all speeds and little or no airflow coming through the vents. Cars can be driven with a blower motor not functioning, but it can be more dangerous if you live in a cold climate and have frost on your windshield, limiting visibility.
