Reaction to Harry Potter as a random./tomarry/2X

Here's the AU!! The characters are 21 years old (Hermione, Harry, Ron, etc.) AU: Marriage to the Dark Lord (where Harry is the guarantor, naturally) Harry flees the wizarding world, away from Tom and everyone else. Tired of Riddle's obsession, he decides to go somewhere where he won't be found. Harry flees Britain for another country, France. But before that, he travels a lot. He adapts to his new life, but the nightmares that have plagued him since the beginning of his escape gradually drive him crazy. Eventually, he writes a letter to Hermione asking how things are in MG. But she writes that Riddle is very angry and tells Harry not to return for his own sake. Weeks, years pass, and Harry can't hold on any longer. The nightmares have driven him insane; he's become extremely paranoid and hallucinatory. He's tired. He even wants to return to Tom, so that the nightmares will end and he can come back. Tom was naturally angry, but also glad that Harry had returned (he wanted to go see him as soon as he found out where he was). They resumed their lives as before; nothing had changed except Riddle's intense guardianship. He was everywhere, too close, too much of him. Harry didn't leave the mansion; he had grown accustomed to being at home, in peace and quiet (?) The nightmares ended, but the paranoia and hallucinations remained. He thought it would pass, but it didn't. It only got worse. Harry started looking for a way out, but he couldn't figure out where or what it was. The hallucinations grew more vivid and realistic. He saw Sirius, whom he hadn't seen in a long time, calling him over to talk, hug him, comfort him. Harry went to him, opened the window, and was about to take Sirius's hand when he was pulled back by the scruff of his neck. Riddle arrived just in time. After that incident, Riddle kept a close eye on his husband, but was often absent due to the Minister's business. And Harry was always sitting in the room, in their bedroom, under the covers. Harry, in truth, wasn't afraid of death. He almost desired it. It was as if his life wasn't his own, constantly controlled by someone else. First the Headmaster, then Riddle, and then who? Harry doesn't remember the faces of his friends, his godfather, the Headmaster, even Malfoy. But he remembers Tom perfectly well. He hates Tom. One day, when Tom wasn't home, Harry made a decision. He was the master of his life, and he would decide what to do with it. Harry took the knife the house elves hadn't hidden and went into the bathroom. He would die the Muggle way, but at least he would be free. Harry stabbed himself in the stomach. It hurt, but not as much as he had his whole life. With difficulty, he made three more stabs. The last one was weak; his strength was waning. And he figured out how to leave. Harry tried to get up and go to the bedroom, but he slipped on his own blood and hit the side of the bathtub. Potter lost consciousness. Riddle returned late that night, uneasy, as if something was wrong. The house was quiet, the house-elves... Where were they? Had he ever let them go? Harry must have let them go, felt sorry for them, and given them a day off. Tom smiled at the thought and went to the bedroom. But Harry wasn't there. Tom tried to find his husband on the comm, to at least know he was alive. Nothing. Tom froze. He quickly began to search the house, practically turning it over. He was looking for Harry, hoping it was all just a joke. He found Harry in the bathroom, covered in blood. Tom knelt down and checked his pulse... Nothing. Harry was gone. Now forever.
