Short Form Follow Along (Front View)

Finally! This has been a tough one to get out and I’m glad it’s done to a reasonable quality. My production capabilities are still not where I’d like them to be, but I am getting a bit better. This is a short form of Tai Chi, mainly based on Yang Style Tai Chi. At first, it was was designed solely as a seated form. (I wanted a rehabilitation focused form, for those who want to get themselves out of their chairs.) Then I started trying the form standing up and having a bit of fun with it. It has become a nifty little compact form that can be done within a small footprint. It can be done seated or standing with a couple of additions and variations. Best of all, my students are seeing lots of personal improvements from their practice of it. If it’s working for them, then they’ve put in the work to make it work, they deserve the credit. I’m just glad they enjoy it enough to practice. A couple of things I always try to remind my students when practicing: When working on rehab, the sweet spot is the edge of uncomfortable. Make sure you don’t go to the point of pain.
