The Church is established I was now sure in my heart that God had commissioned me to set up the church of His Son Jesus Christ in Central Africa. It happened therefore that in the autumn of 1959, the African Apostolic Church was founded and began to take root. In my capacity as the commissioned servant of the Lord, I stood as bishop to lay the foundations of the organisation of the church. I ordained and appointed some of the group members into positions necessary for the sooth running of the church. Loveless Manhango, was made reverend; Joseph Chakawa, evangelist; Samuel Manhango, prophet; Thomas Chisango, secretary. I made these nominations after Chief Neshangwe and the white District Commissioner of Charter had granted me permission. We began conducting baptisms for everyone in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We travelled in Charter, Buhera preaching and faith-healing.
